WHAT is CYSTADROPS?
CYSTADROPS (cysteamine ophthalmic solution) 0.37% is a prescription medicine used to treat corneal cystine crystal deposits in the eye in adults and children with cystinosis.
Before starting CYSTADROPS, tell your healthcare provider (HCP) about all your medical conditions, including if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant, breastfeeding or plan to breastfeed. Tell your HCP about all the medicines you take, including any prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, or herbal supplements.
To minimize the risk of contamination, do not touch the dropper tip to the eyelids, surrounding areas, or to any surface. Keep bottle tightly closed when not in use.
What are the possible side effects of CYSTADROPS?
CYSTADROPS may cause side effects including:
The most common side effects of CYSTADROPS are eye pain (stinging), blurred vision, eye irritation (burning), eye redness, discomfort at instillation site (sticky eyes or sticky eyelids), eye itching, watery eyes, medicine deposit on the eye lashes or around the eyes.

CYSTADROPS® (cysteamine ophthalmic solution), for topical ophthalmic use, is available as 3.8 mg/mL of cysteamine (0.37%) in 5 mL bottles.
